ERIN VANSICKLE has joined the firm Carlton Fields as a senior government consultant. VanSickle most recently has worked as deputy chief of staff at the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.

SCOTT JENKINS has joined the firm Delegal|Aubuchon Consulting as government affairs director. Jenkins’ previous positions included working for the Florida Bankers Association, the Florida House of Representatives and the Republican Party of Florida.

KARL RASMUSSEN has joined the firm Metz, Husband & Daughton as a senior policy adviser. Rasmussen’s previous positions included deputy chief of staff to then-Gov. Rick Scott.

LOGAN LEMKOW has been named director of communications at the Florida Sheriffs Association. Lemkow has worked as a director at the public-relations firm Moore.

DAVID BEAR has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Triumph Gulf Coast Board of Directors. Bear, of Pensacola, is vice president of The Lewis Bear Company.

TED FEASTER, BRIAN WILSON, FRANK CAWTHON AND ASHLEY ROSS have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Feaster, of Ocala, is a general contractor and owner of Feasterco Construction. Wilson, of Cedar Key, is a general contractor and president of Wilson & Company, Inc. Cawthon, of Windemere, is president and owner of Florida Home Construction of Central Florida and FHC Development. Ross, of Tallahassee, is owner of Ross Consulting.

DONALD CESARONE, RACHELLE WOOD AND EDWARD MCCULLERS have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Construction Industry Licensing Board. Cesarone, of Sunrise, is a pool contractor and vice president of the Commercial Division at Van Kirk and Sons, Inc. Wood, of Jupiter, is a sheet-metal contractor for Dolphin Sheet Metal, Inc. McCullers, of Estero, is owner of McCullers Construction Services, Inc.

JAMES WOOD JR. has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Mid-Bay Bridge Authority. Wood, of Destin, is a former Destin City Council member who served 20 years in the United States Army.

GARY HARROD AND ARTHUR “CHIP” DIEHL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority. Harrod, of Tampa, is president and chief executive officer of Harrod Properties. Diehl, of Tampa, is managing director of Diehl and Associates.

IVAN FERNANDEZ has started serving as chief judge of the 3rd District Court of Appeal. Fernandez has served on the Miami-based court since 2011.
