MIKE MILLER AND ANNA ALEXOPOULOS FARRAR have been named vice presidents of Space Florida. Miller, who will serve as vice president of external affairs and workforce integration, is a former member of the Florida House. Alexopoulos Farrar, who will serve as vice president of corporate communications, has more than 15 years of communications experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors.
CANDACE BRASCOMB AND BYRON FLAGG have joined the GrayRobinson law firm. Brascomb most recently worked as an analyst for the Florida House of Representatives, advising on judicial legislation and legislative programs. Flagg most recently served as conservation land negotiator with Alachua Conservation Trust.
JOSHUA PRATT has joined the Tallahassee office of the law firm of Holtzman Vogel Baran Torchinsky & Josefiak PLLC. Pratt is a former deputy general counsel for Gov. Ron DeSantis.
DAVID ISAACKS has been named by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as director of the Sunshine Healthcare Network. Isaacks most recently served as executive health system director of the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System.
CHARLES FAIRCLOTH JR. has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission. Faircloth, of Tallahassee, is general counsel for the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
DAVID CERNIGLIA, MICHAEL “BRAD” COOLIDGE, DANIELLE LARSON AND ROBERT MELGAARD have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Concrete Masonry Education Council. Cerniglia is vice president and general manager of the South Region Concrete Division of Preferred Materials Inc. Coolidge is safety and environmental manager of A-1 Block Corp. Larson is chief executive officer of GBL Group. Melgaard is career and technical education programs administrator at the Florida Department of Corrections.
ROCKIE JENKINS, TROY MASCHMEYER, WILLIAM PARSONS AND MARK SMITH have been reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Concrete Masonry Education Council. Jenkins is director of CEMEX Florida. Maschmeyer is chief executive officer of Maschmeyer Concrete Co. Parsons is a regional vice president at Pyramid Masonry Contractors. Smith is owner of Bell Concrete Products and Columbia Ready Mix.
SHELLEY REYNOLDS has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 1st Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Reynolds, of Pensacola, is an attorney at the Law Office of Shelley Guy Reynolds.
NATALIE CHRISTMAS has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 2nd Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Christmas, of Tallahassee, is assistant attorney general of legal policy for the Office of the Attorney General.
HUNTER NORTON has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 12th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Norton, of Sarasota, is a partner at Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick, LLP.
CHARLES REYNOLDS II has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the 13th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. Reynolds, of Tampa, is a partner at Tyson & Mendes, LLP.
